Group Managing Director
Nicholas Bye
Nicholas has over a decade of experience in the security risk management sector and has managed substantial portfolios for some of Europe’s leading property management and retail firms. He brings strong sector knowledge and a clear understanding of client requirements, service delivery and business growth. As Group Managing Director, he leads the overall direction of OHS, ensuring the business remains aligned to market needs and well positioned for continued growth.
Group Marketing & Strategy Director
Matthew Bottomley
Matthew has over 20 years of experience in global marketing and commercial roles across professional services, health and beauty, consumer technology and sport. He has led product development programmes, brand marketing and international launches, combining market insight with practical execution across planning, activation and channel execution. At OHS, Matthew leads marketing and strategy, shaping our plan for sustainable growth across key sectors and service lines.
Director
James Penny
James has 20 years of experience across multiple sectors, with particular expertise in recruitment, compliance and health and safety. He brings strong leadership, entrepreneurial drive and a hands-on approach to business development and brand growth. At OHS, James has a strong focus on sales, helping drive new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support the company’s continued growth.
Group Commercial Director
Alex Penny
Alex has a strong commercial and marketing background, with much of his career focused on start-ups and growing businesses. He co-founded and ran a successful digital marketing business for seven years before exiting in 2023. Alongside marketing, he has developed broad experience across sales, finance, supply chain, compliance and legal. At OHS, Alex leads the commercial side of the business, with a focus on client growth, commercial performance and developing opportunities across the group.
Head of UK Operations
Richard Holmes
Richard has over 10 years of experience in property compliance, with particular expertise in asbestos. He has built strong relationships across the sector, including with clients and key suppliers, and brings a practical understanding of service delivery and operational performance. As Head of UK Operations, he leads operational delivery across the business, working closely with internal teams to maintain high service standards and effective account support.
Quality Manager
Kerry Walsh
Kerry has over 15 years of experience in environmental, health and safety across compliance and assurance programmes in the property sector. She specialises in developing robust quality systems, technical standards and EHS frameworks that strengthen operational performance, reduce risk and support continuous improvement. At OHS, she helps ensure that quality and compliance standards are embedded effectively across the business.
